Two fine chains made to be worn together: a twisted Singapore chain that sparkles as it moves, and a cable chain spaced with small polished bars. Two separate necklaces, already matched, so your layered look is done before you start. Available in rhodium-plated sterling silver or 10K gold vermeil.
The Metal Truth
Material: 925 Sterling Silver
Finish: Rhodium-plated (silver) or 10K gold vermeil (gold)
Best for: Everyday layering, open necklines, building a stack, an easy gift
Wear note: About 2.2 grams for the set. The Singapore chain is the shorter of the two and sits just above the bar chain, which is 18 inches with a 3 inch extender, so the pair is already spaced to layer.
Care: Take them off before sleeping, showering, swimming, or working out. Put them on after perfume, lotion, and hairspray. Fine chains tangle easily, so store each necklace clasped and laid flat, separately, in a pouch. The twisted Singapore chain can kink if it's bunched up, so lay it straight rather than coiling it. Skip silver dips and abrasive polishing cloths, which wear plating and vermeil faster.
About the Rhodium
Rhodium is a precious metal in the platinum family. Fine jewelers use it to give white gold and sterling silver their bright, white finish, so it's a standard step in quality jewelry, not a shortcut. Underneath is real 925 sterling silver, never base metal. With regular wear, the plating can soften over time, and any jeweler can refresh it.
About Gold Vermeil
Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-MAY) is a thick layer of real gold over a base of 925 sterling silver. To be called vermeil, the gold must be at least 10K and at least 2.5 microns thick, which is far heavier than standard gold plating. This piece is 10K gold vermeil, at least 2.5 microns thick. Because the base is sterling silver rather than brass or copper, you're wearing precious metal all the way through. With years of regular wear, vermeil can soften in high-contact spots, and any jeweler can restore it.
Why We Chose It
Good layering comes down to contrast. We chose this pair because the two chains do different things: the Singapore chain twists and catches light, while the bar chain adds clean, steady rhythm. Together they look intentional. Apart, each one works on its own.
Styling Notes
Wear both at once for a ready-made layered look, or split them up and wear one at a time. Use the bar chain's extender to open or close the gap between them. For a three-layer look, add the Juliette Two-Stone Necklace. They sit well under a crew neck, a V-neck, or an open collar.
Gift Confidence
One of the easiest gifts to give: no sizing, already matched, and a set that works for nearly every style. Two finishes make it simple to match what they already wear. Add gift packaging at checkout for a ready-to-give box and a personal note.
